Construction sites change weekly — and so should your security plan. A perimeter that worked during groundworks may be inadequate once high-value plant arrives.
Control the gate. Every vehicle and pedestrian should be logged. Combine a manned gatehouse during working hours with randomised mobile patrols overnight.
Layer technology. Temporary CCTV with remote monitoring, alarm response, and illuminated compounds dramatically reduce opportunistic theft.
Document everything. Insurers and principal contractors increasingly expect GPS-verified patrol logs and photographic evidence after each visit.
